Bolt-Up Portal Frame System
The bolt-up portal frame
shed is the most common type of shed seen in the market place. While not
as easy to construct as the stud frame system, Bolt-up Portal frame
sheds are able to Span much greater distances.
There is no
drilling or cutting to be done. All components are pre-punched - ready for the connection bolts. A simple construction Manual comes with your
frame.
Portal frame sheds are best suited for the larger spans. The only real advantage for its domestic use is if the shed will be used where hosing and cleaning occurs regularly.
The waste can escape though the indents on the wall cladding where provision is made for waste, but in most domestic cases this may potentially be an environmental hazard.
